Nardis comes to London

This year, Zuhal and Önder Foçan’s Nardis Jazz Club is celebrating its 20th anniversary. July’s big concert at the Volkswagen Arena in Maslak is now followed by a two-night pop-up Nardis Jazz Club in Clerkenwell, London, part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. Mimaroğlu: The Robinson of Manhattan Island The screening of a documentary about the legendary electronic music composer İlhan Mimaroğlu and his wife, Güngör, who migrated to the USA from Turkey in the early 1960s (see trailer) 13.30–15.30 Tickets £11

Alfred Berkshire Jazz Sessions: Remembering Maffy Falay – Ferit Odman Quintet Ferit Odman and friends pay tribute to the Turkish trumpet legend, Maffy Falay, who died in February 2022 aged 92. 19:00 – 20:30pm. Tickets £19
