Engine Room Producer Anna Hodgart and National Theatre of Scotland Dramaturg Rosie Kellagher will be on the road and are keen to meet artists of all backgrounds. Whether you’re a playwright, a theatre maker, a musician, a spoken word artist or a visual artist with an interest in live performance, we want to meet you! Artist in Residence Nic Green will also join us, offering a special workshop exploring her inter-disciplinary practice; and Eve Nicol, director of The Drift will share her experience working as both a director and playwright and across different art forms.

Writers Coffee Morning
Gather with fellow writers for a cup of tea or coffee with National Theatre of Scotland Dramaturg Rosie Kellagher. A chance to share what you’re working on or what is inspiring you and ask questions to Rosie or your peers.
6.30pm – 8.30pm:
Nic Green, Process & Practice workshop
Join award-winning performance maker and Artist in Residence Nic Green for a practical workshop exploring her practice and approaches to making new work, with a specific focus on cross-disciplinary and physical and visual approaches.
2, 3 and 4pm
A chance to chat about your writing with National Theatre of Scotland Dramaturg Rosie Kellagher and get some feedback on a script you’re currently writing. Open to writers at any level of experience who have a draft of play they’re working on which would benefit from feedback.

Ideas and Careers Surgeries
An introductory meeting with National Theatre Scotland’s Engine Room Producer Anna Hodgart to hear more about how to engage with the company and for advice and tips on the best way of progressing your performance practice and career or a specific idea.
