Pappa Café

Caferağa Mah., Ruşen Ağa Sokak 18, Kadıköy, Istanbul

Mon–Fri: 8:30–20:00; Sun: 10:00–19:00

On the ground floor of a fine Neoclassical building designed by Constantine Pappa (1868–1931), this small charming café serves good coffee, tantalising cakes and light meals. It is a perfect place to stop for a drink or snack while exploring Kadıköy. The elusive Greek architect who designed the building was also responsible for many other delightful parts of the neighbourhood.
