İş Sanat Culture Center

İş Kuleleri, Levent, 34330 İstanbul

  1. Levent metro station, 5 mins. Good car park under auditorium.

The İş Sanat Cultural Centre (İş Sanat Kültür Merkezi) is located in the İş Towers or İşbank Towers (İş Kuleleri or İş Bankası Kuleleri) – three skyscrapers that were built between 1995 and 2000 as the headquarters of the Turkish Commercial Bank (Türkiye İş Bankası). The complex includes a concert hall seating 800 and the Kibele (ie, Cybele) art gallery. Acoustics in the concert hall are – to say the least – far from perfect. Refreshments are available in the foyer.

The nearest metro station is the Levent stop on the M2 line (not the 4. Levent stop, which is further away, and from which the İş Sanat Cultural Centre is very difficult to access on foot.). Take the ‘Levent Çarşı’ exit, which will bring you out beside Büyükdere Caddesi, the main road leading north towards 4th Levent and Maslak. Walk north along Büyükdere Caddesi. When you have passed Levent Caddesi, the new Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque, Çayırçimen Sokak and the skyscrapers of the Yapı Kredi Plaza (all these will be on your right), turn right – but not sharp right – along the ‘Kale Seramik’ road, which soon turns a corner to the right, making for the three blue and white İşbank towers (one very tall, the other two less so). Alternatively, take any of the buses or minibuses from Beşiktaş that go as far as 4th Levent (Dördüncü Levent) and ask for İş Bankası Kuleleri.
