The most recent issue of Cornucopia arrived at our home yesterday. As always, it was a pleasure to sit down with it and absorb the beautiful photography and excellent articles one always finds within. It inspires in me a mixture of pleasure and nostalgic melancholy, as my husband and I lived in Turkey several decades ago. We both fell in love with the nation, the people, the cities and the villages. Thank you for capturing the essence of that marvelous place and sharing it with those of us who are true Turkophiles!' Is it a phase a craze or just an obsession? Since finding Cornucopia a couple of years ago I have tried to complete the entire issue of the magazine. I have haunted second-hand bookshops and stalls from London to Istanbul, Edinburgh to Izmir. I have amassed a collection of Cornucopia - I can't resist even buying duplicate back issues if I find them - which I have in a cupboard in my tiny Izmir flat (I'm sure Andrew Finkel would describe it as compact and bijou). Sometimes when I open it guests remark 'what are all those magazines' and like a dipsomaniac concealing the empty gin bottles reply 'Oh, just some magazines about Turkey' I have managed to complete the collection from number 2 onwards - number 1 has eluded me so far - I feel the excitement may be too much if I find it! Issues 2 and 3 caused palpitations. Are any of your other reasders and subscribers similarly afflicted? I feel I can't be alone. We should have a support group for Cornucopia addicts! Congratulations and thanks for this excellent publication Subscriber in Izmir |

Happy New Year! I would like to thank you and all the team at Cornucopia for the compassioned effort they put into this miraculous magazine. Thank you so much for the inspiration and the preservation of a rich culture. I thought for a while I would not be able to preserve the old Ottoman culture here in USA, then on a visit back to Istanbul I found Cornucopia.. I am very happy now to subscribe to this cultural miracle Cornucopia has created. I wish you all peace within and peace in the world Subscriber in Atlanta Georgia |

Part of your marketing strategy was to distribute copies of Cornucopia to certain people and as a result I fell heir to a few copies. Before this I had never given Turkey much thought, but the magazine turned out to be a revelation to me. I read with interest about such diverse topics as the production of cymbals, recovering bodies after the earthquake and travellers tales highlighting interesting rural regions. The things I read about Turkey fascinated me and in turn I encouraged three of my friends to holiday there, they came back with delightful accounts. For some years I have supported my daughters through their tertiary education so I couldn't foresee in the near future being able to holiday anywhere. However, frugal living gets boring and my husband and I recently decided to blow care to the wind, we are holidaying with friends for a week in Antalya in the middle of November. My experience is testimony to the effectiveness of Cornucopia in promoting a greater depth of understanding in the 'British' of Turkey. May I take this opportunity to congratulate you on your achievement and with you continued success. Thank you. Member of the House of Commons |

This latest edition of Cornucopia is one of the most superb examples of design and printing that I have ever had the joy of experiencing. Not only is it physically beautiful but it presents fabulous Istanbul in a manner which is unforgettable. As a person who considers Istanbul to be her second favourite city in the world (second only to home - Sydney) and a yearly visitor with groups of Australian travellers I couldn't imagine a more beautiful commentary on Istanbul. Thank you so much for the delight it is giving to me and my husband Subscriber in Australia on receiving Issue 32 |

I have to admit that in this age of everything global, everything commercial, seeing and reading Cornucopia has made me believe a little again in the magazine business. What a beautiful product you put out, congratulations. Editor, Veranda Magazine, NY |
