The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BİFO), under the baton of Gergely Madaras (Conductor and Musical Director of the Liège Royal Philharmonic Orchestra), play Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No 1.
The soloist is the celebrated South Korean violinist Bomsori Kim, who is well known to audiences in Istanbul. Back in 2019, we admired her vigorous rendition of Bruch’s Violin Concerto No 1 when she was performing with the Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra – her slight figure does not prevent her pulling out all the stops when necessary.
