This solo show of Ani Çelik Arevyan’s draw on her archive of over 95,000 images to create stories and juxtapositions out of memories. Taken on her journeys all over the world over the last 30 years, the images are presented as evocative diptychs, drawing parallels between places and pictures that might otherwise never meet.

‘For me As Is resembles a body of literature bringing together the memories of places I have been in throughout my life,’ says Arevyan, ‘In the series I assemble together the moments and images we record without noticing every day with their correspondences in other places and times.’
