An odyssey into the history of traditional Turkish shadow play opens at the Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts. Showcasing works by Ragıp Tuğtekin, a prominent shadow-play artist, and 20 other artists, the exhibition investigates the place of the Karagöz tradition within the world’s shadow play traditions and the exchanges between local myths and oral traditions that has developed around Karagöz.
