The second part of Arter’s performance program, Participation will be inaugurated by Belgium-based New Zealand artist Kate McIntosh’s live installation, Worktable. Staged in Arter’s new space, Karbon, three visitors can experience the performance every 15 minutes during Arter’s visiting hours. Visitors will take an active role and intervene in various everyday objects by following certain instructions.
Worktable has been staged in a number of other venues and festivals, including Centre Pompidou (France), Kaaitheater (Belgium), EMMA (Finland) and Fierce Festival (UK).
