The charismatic Turkish composer and pianist has set out on a whirlwind tour of the world. In March he confines himself to Scotland, Germany and Ireland, before moving on to Serbia, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark in April, South Korea, Paris, St Petersburg and Germany again in May, and Switzerland, Austria and Ankara in June.
In Scotland he will perform with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra at the Caird Hall, Dundee (March 12), the Usher Hall, Edinburgh (March 13) and the Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow (March 14). He moves on to Germany to joins Hermann Bäumer, Philharmonisches Staatsorchester at Staatstheater, Mainz (March 20), followed by recitals in the Staatstheater (March 21) and the Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur (March 22). He, then, gives two concerts in Ireland with Katherine Hunka and the Irish Chamber Orchestra – at the Printworks, Dublin Castle (March 28) and at the University of Limerick Concert Hall (March 29).
