The 47th Istanbul Music Festival, organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) under the sponsorship of E.C.A. Presdöküm Sanayii A.Ş., will be held from 11 to 30 June 2019. The festival, which celebrates its 47th edition, presents a programme built around this year’s theme Darkness of Being, Lightness of Being.
The festival will host leading figures of classical music, none less than Yuri Bashmet, Yuja Wang, Fazıl Say, Daniel Müller-Schott, Cameristi della Scala, and Luxembourg Philharmonic.
