The place for büryan (the Turkish equivalent of slow-cooked lamb tandoori without the spice) kebap from Siirt in eastern Turkey. There are also other Siirt specialties such as rice with chicken and almonds baked in a pastry casting. The food is good but the atmosphere is humdrum.
