Ferries from Turkey's largest port serve several Mediterranean ports, including Cyprus. Most events are held in the Mersin Halkevi, built during the 1930s enlightenment, but concerts are also held in St Paul’s Church in Tarsus and the sinkhole by the ancient city of Kanlıdivane, about 30 miles from the city near the Çanakçı rock tombs
