An effortless 90-minute bus-ride from the heart of London, Oxford is one of the last bastions of Turkish studies in the United Kingdom, not to mention Ottoman and Byzantine studies. The city's Classical cluster of dreaming spires, such as the Radcliffe Camera's (below), is an open-air museum of ancient colleges.
