‘In Pursuit of an Ideal: Atatürk and Alaca Höyük’ features significant archaeological artefacts from the Alaca Höyük and other Bronze Age excavations in what the Hittites knew as the Land of Hatti. It brings together 235 original artefacts from various museums and explores the archaeological mobilisation initiated under Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s leadership, emphasising the importance of archaeological and historical research. The exhibition spans three floors of Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts and includes a wide range of art from the Hatti and Hittite civilisations.
