Like its name suggest, Fotoğrafevi (Photograph House) is dedicated to hosting compelling photography exhibitions. Usually centred on a theme or an artist, the exhibitions often give a glimpse into a certain period in Turkey or underline a style favoured in Turkish contemporary photography. There are also exhibitions focusing on international photographers and regions.

Some notable exhibitions have included a tribute to the late Necati Abacı, one of Turkey’s most renowned cartoonists and graphic artists; a retrospective of Nikos Economopoulos; and a number of exhibitions showing the works by one of Turkey’s most well-known exports, Ara Güler.

The gallery also puts out a number of high-quality publications and occasionally runs photography themed seminars.
