Opened in December and costing some 83 million Euros, this musical campus is the new home of the Turkey’s Presidential Symphony Orchestra, which dates its founding back to i1826. The “Grand Hall” seats 2,023, while two additional auditoriums, the Blue Hall and the Historical Symphony Hall, can hold 500 and 600 seats respecitively.

This is the first new world-class concert hall to open since the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie concert hall in 2017. Architecturally, it consists of two opaque glass clad spheres with a dramatic glass triangle in between. Set in a rectangular body of water, this strong geometrical form is intended to emphasise the monumental and timelessness.
