With Harvard and MIT leading the educational field, Boston is America’s city of learning, and it has strong Turkish links. The Boston Turkish Cultural Festival stretches through the winter months, and an annual Boston Turkish Film Festival is held every spring. There is an active Turkish Cultural Center, and no shortage of Turksih restaurants – Saray, at 1098 Commonwealth Avenue, gets consistently good ratings, for its food rather than its ambience. Symphony Hall is the home of Boston Symphony Orchestra and there several other major music venues, while Boston Museum of Fine Art is not, of course, to be missed.
