- What’s On
Three Quartz Fumé Sauvignon Blanc and three distinctly Thracian Albarinos, from Mustafa Çamlıca’s winery near Lüleburgaz. Both of these white wines are singled out by Kevin Gould in his Wine Report Cornucopia 56. The smoky Quartz Fumé serves to amplify Mustafa Çamlıca’s message that these cool-climate (for Turkey) wines have exceptional minerality and acidity. The Albarino is ‘subtle yet strong’ and fuller than its Spanish or Portuguese counterparts.
