The Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maurice Steger (who also doubles as a performer on the recorder), plays works by Haydn (his Symphony No 9), Carlo Ignazio Monza, Gottfried Finger, William Babell, Georg Phillipp Telemann, J.S. Bach (his ‘Ricercar’ from The Musical Offering plus his Concerto for Recorder and Strings) and W.A. Mozart (his Symphony No 9, K 73).
