The Sadberk Hanım Museum, Istanbul’s first major private museum, celebrates its 40th anniversary in October by opening a clever exhibition examining motifs shared by its Ancient and Ottoman collections. The exhibition is featured in Cornucopia 62. The first half of the book focuses on the motifs found on objects in the museum’s collections, geometric, floral architectural, you name it, often suggesting their ancient sources.
