A celebration of all that fascinated Western travellers as they encountered the Ottoman Empire in its many guises, imaginative or real. This extraordinary assemblage of art and artefacts ranges from paintings to books, janissary heirlooms and ceramics, spanning the 15th to the 20th centuries.
