Reading list | Polonezköy

This quaint Polish village on Istanbul's Anatolian shore, bordered by Beykoz, was given by Abdülmecid I to Prince Adam Czartoryski in 1842 (for this reason, it's also known as Adampol). The village features a church, a Polish cemetery, restaurants serving Polish cuisine (pork dishes) and the Memorial House of Zofia Rizi, which features souvenirs,  photographs, books, documents and historic interior decorations. If none of these excite, the nature around these parts is worth a visit alone. This website has some useful info.
