Yapı Kredi Museum is hosting the ‘In Pursuit of an Ideal: Atatürk and Alaca Höyük’ exhibition from 13 October 2023 to 10 March 2024, featuring significant archaeological artefacts from the Alaca Höyük excavations. This exhibition brings together 235 original artefacts from various museums, showcasing a unique historical and cultural perspective. It explores the archaeological mobilisation initiated under Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s leadership, emphasising the importance of archaeological and historical research. The exhibition spans three floors of Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts and includes a wide range of artefacts from the Hatti and Hittite civilisations.
