This lively work by Mehmet Güleryüz is part of the Karaköy gallery Mixer’s Printed’20, the latest in a longstanding series exploring the potential and boundaries of the print medium. Both emerging and established contemporary artists are included. While previous editions focused on specific aspects of print media such as etchings, lithography, linoleum prints, silkscreens, photography and sculpture, this year’s show, curated by Kerimcan Güleryüz, also the founding partner of x-ist and owner and director of The Empire Project, delves into the medium as a whole to reveal its history and contemporary uses.
Participating artists include Burhan Kum, Mehmet Güleryüzz, CANAN, Erol Akyavaş, Edze Ali, Jordan Söderberg Mills, Kaybid, Lale Tara, Mehmet Güleryüz, SENA, Stoya, Ünal Baş, Yekateryna Grygorenko.
