The Turkish Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Cem Mansur, will be giving concerts with pianist Gökhan Aybulus on Sunday, July 21 at 20.00 and on Monday, July 22 at 20.00.
Gökhan Aybulus, an excellent Turkish pianist trained in Moscow, will be performing Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No 2. Also on the programme are Weber’s ‘Der Freischütz’ Overture and a work by F. Köksal entitled ‘Silent Echoes II’. At the concert on July 21, the last item will be Beethoven’s Symphony No 8, while on July 22, the last item will be Tchaikovsky’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’.
