Katip Mustafa Çelebi Mah., Büyükparmakkapı Sokak / Tel Sokak No. 2/1, Beyoğlu

Mon–Sat: 12.00–23.00

From Taksim Square, walk down İstiklâl Caddesi and turn down the third street on your left and go all the way to the end. Klemuri is on the right, at the corner of Tel Sokak.

This charming cafe-restaurant serves cuisine inspired by the Laz region on the Black Sea. The word klemuri refers to the chain which holds the cauldron, a popular item in the Laz kitchen.

The ingredients used are organic and the dishes are lovingly prepared and include regional specialities such as the muhlama, a sort of cheese fondue made with corn flour, butter and cheese; gulaš, a Georgian beef stew; silor, Georgian ravioli; and rice served with anchovies and black currants. Don’t miss the ‘Chocolate to Death’ dessert.
