Ayşe Ateş, Çağla Sel and Damla Yalçın unite in a group show that finds them reinterpreting the objects they have carried along from their past. Through their work, the object become a part of healing, as well as a tether to past times.
In Ayşe Ateş’s work, she examines the idea that the past can never be lost. Çağla Sel uses the image of a window as a metaphor to examine the lightness and darkness that connects to her own world, as well as to ruminate on alienation. Damla Yalçın integrates her memories into her work through the concept of a home.
