Sylvia Kouvali’s Rodeo gallery was king of the hill in Istanbul when she decided to open a second branch in London in October 2014. Rodeo was (and is) known for its impressive roster of local, regional and international artists, including established Greek artists Apostolos Georgiou, Christodoulos Panayiotou and Eftihis Patsourakis; emerging British talents Mark Aerial Waller and James Richards; and Egyptian artist Iman Issa. Turkish artists include Emre Hüner and Banu Cennetoğlu. The gallery previously represented veteran artist Gülsün Karamustafa.

Rodeo’s Istanbul branch closed towards the end of 2015, at which point the whole show moved to London. The gallery is now solely operating out of their space at 123 Charing Cross.
