Restaurants | South of the Sea of Marmara

South of the Marmara is an area stretching from Adapazaraı at the easternmost tip of the Bay of Izmit, to Çanakkale, on the southern shore of the Dardanelles, that is quite distinct from the rest of Anatolia. Bursa is main metropolis, but there are also two ski resorts, race horses and amazing bird migrations to take in, not to mention the great Karacabey panayir (country market).

Paçacı Hüsnü is off the beaten track in downtown Bursa and hard to find without a car/taxi. It makes an excellent break if you are passing Bursa on your way south to Izmir, as you can slip on and off the motorway without getting snared in too much traffic. If driving, leave the Yıldırım roundabout in the direction of Ankara and take the first turning on your right after the petrol station. The street backtracks and Paçacı Hüsnu is on your right.
