Cornucopia’s travel guide

Chicago’s cosmopolitan make-up can be seen in its many museums to immigrant communities from, among others, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine. The Turkish contingent makes a good show in September with its annual festival, with eye-catching posters by such talented designers as Emrah Yücel (see Cornucopia's  2015 Festival report) and Ozan Karakoc. There are Hittite items to be seen in the Oriental Institute, and the new Islamic galleries at the Art Institute of Chicago have attracted enthusiastic reviews.
