- What’s On
The Zeytin Konak (the Olive Mansion) stands on a peaceful street five minutes’ walk from the centre of Alaçatı, away from the noise of the area’s famed nightlife. The hotel consists of four unique and charming houses with a garden green all year surrounding two pools. The style throughout is rustic Aegean, with stone walls mixed with soft, romantic touches. Rooms are bright and airy and have very comfortable, natural furnishings.
Traditional village breakfast and home-made jams, lunch and dinner with fresh local food… Cooking and terrarium workshops, yoga lessons, fishing trips, bicycle tours and windsurfing packages are all available to guests. This is the windsurfer’s capital of the eastern Mediterranean.
The hotel makes an excellent base for exploring by car. The Çeşme peninsula has with its lovely bays with old-fashioned little fish restaurants, the breathtaking Karaburun pensinsula overlooking the Island of Chios, and amazing vineyards reached through a maze of well-signposted country lanes. Thanks to the motorway, the great ruins of Ephesus Priene, Miletus and Aphrodisias are also all within easy day-trip reach.
The winter garden with its fireplace awaits for peaceful winter stays. The Zeytin Konak is also expert at hosting small company meetings, seminars and workshops.
