One of the newer ultra-hip Karaköy offerings, Komodor is a small place with only a few seats inside (although there are tables on the balcony which are very popular during the summer months).

The restaurant focuses on thin crust pizzas with generous amounts of toppings. Sourcing organic ingredients from Urla (known for its excellent wineries), everything is fresh and delicious, with flavours the perfect fusion of Italian and Aegean cuisines. A pizza topped with sucuk (spicy Turkish sausage), for instance, is accompanied by Italian cheeses and sprinkled with rocket.
